Helping families to create the perfect funeral service for their loved one is my passion and the reason I became a Celebrant. I believe that funerals should be centred purely around the wishes of the person who has died and those of their family. I will work with you to create a truly memorable and fitting service that reflects the life lived with dignity, warmth and if you like, humour where appropriate.

How it works...
Ceremonies that capture the true essence of your loved one.
As a funeral celebrant in Dorset, I am usually contacted by a funeral director and asked to speak to a family about their wishes for the funeral but you can make direct contact with me whether or not you are using a funeral director. We will then arrange to meet and talk about the life of your loved one. We will also discuss any music and poetry choices you feel would be appropriate, and what your wishes are for the ceremony.
Once the ceremony has been written, I will send you a copy of the script for you to approve. You can make as many changes as you need to until you are completely comfortable with the content of the ceremony. After the funeral I can provide you with a keepsake script for your family should you wish.

Planning your funeral ceremony whilst still living
It can be very reassuring to know that your funeral arrangements are taken care of in advance. If you feel that you would like to have your funeral ceremony written whilst you are still living, we can work together to create a script reflecting your exact requirements. The whole ceremony is taken care of including your music choices, readings, messages to loved ones and a full eulogy. Once approved by you, a script of the ceremony is then kept by myself, a copy is lodged with your chosen funeral director and a copy is sent to you which can be kept with your personal papers or entrusted to a family member for safekeeping. Whilst I cannot guarantee to be available to personally conduct the ceremony when the time comes, I will make every possible effort.

She was very thorough at sending all three of us a draft of the Eulogy and amending any small timeline details. The end result was brilliant. She suggested and used suitable poems which we were all very happy with. She was professional and friendly with just the right manner and I would definitely ask her again (although hope not to have to!)"
